About Us
Freedom Construction remodels homes across the Front Range and into the foothills. Our work balances thoughtful design with builder realism. We care about structure, performance, and the long view—finishes that age well, layouts that make sense, and details that feel intentional.
A remodel is never just about the space—it’s about the people in it. It’s about how a family moves from room to room and how mornings and evenings unfold. Fixing bottlenecks in a home isn’t cosmetic—it’s quality of life. We work well with homeowners who appreciate clarity and collaboration. Some come to us with a designer already involved; others rely on us to guide selections and planning.

Our Process
Every remodel starts with listening. After the walkthrough, we move into planning and design. Permitting and engineering are part of the reality of remodeling in Colorado.
Construction involves coordination. No remodel is perfectly smooth, but a well-managed project keeps stress low and momentum steady. When the work is complete, we walk the space together and address anything that needs attention.

On-Site Consultation
We begin with a walkthrough of your home to understand your goals, priorities, budget, and timeline. This is our chance to see the space firsthand, ask thoughtful questions, and talk through what’s possible.

Design &
Planning
Next, we'll translate your ideas into drawings, selections, and a realistic scope of work. This phase is about clarity — aligning expectations, refining costs, and building a roadmap for construction.
Construction & Coordination
From demolition to framing, mechanicals to finishes, we manage the moving parts so the project stays organized and on track. We maintain open communication throughout, so you're always in the loop.

The Finishing
Touches
Upon completion, we walk the space together and address anything that needs attention. We fine-tune the details, complete punch-list items, and ensure everything meets our standards — and yours.

Our Team
Mike Aberle
Founder & General Contractor
Freedom Construction Corp is a Colorado-based custom construction and high-end remodeling company founded by Mike Aberle, a lifelong builder with roots in both construction and precision manufacturing.
Mike began working on job sites at 13, learning the trade alongside his father, a general contractor. After high school, he trained as an apprentice pattern maker in the family foundry and machine shop—an experience that sharpened his eye for precision, planning, and fine detail.
When the 2008–2009 recession closed the manufacturing facility, Mike earned his general contractor’s license and launched Freedom Construction Corp. His brother, Wesley D’Andrea, soon joined and now serves as Project Manager and Vice President.
Today, the company specializes in high-quality residential remodeling, custom renovations, and additions—delivering thoughtful design, durable construction, and refined details. Even as the company grows, Mike remains personally involved to ensure every client experience exceeds expectations.
Wesley D'Andrea
Vice President & Project Manager
Wesley D’Andrea is a Colorado native with over a decade of experience in construction and serves as Vice President of Freedom Construction Corp. His background spans both construction and industrial work, where he developed a strong foundation in discipline, precision, and hands-on problem-solving.
Wesley began his career working in a foundry alongside Mike Aberle, where he spent years learning the value of hard work, attention to detail, and accountability. He later gained experience in the oilfield, working in demanding environments across the country that reinforced the importance of doing the job right the first time.
In 2014, Wesley joined Freedom Construction, bringing his experience and work ethic to the growing company. He plays a key role in project management and field operations, helping maintain the company’s reputation for dependable service, straightforward leadership, and quality craftsmanship.
Outside of work, Wesley enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors—interests that have shaped his values of patience, resilience, and respect for the land.
Holly Rohrer
Officer & Operations Coordinator
Holly Rohrer is a Colorado native and serves as Office & Operations Coordinator at Freedom Construction Corp. She brings a strong analytical and detail-oriented approach to her role, supported by a background in the science field where precision, organization, and problem-solving were essential.
With over two years of project management experience, Holly supports the daily operations that keep projects running smoothly. She manages budgets, coordinates schedules, and oversees client communication, helping ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency throughout each phase of a project. While her role is primarily behind the scenes, she remains closely connected to project progress and occasionally attends walkthroughs to stay aligned with field operations.
Her work supports the structure and organization that allow projects to move forward efficiently while maintaining a seamless client experience.
